Privacy

PD2 Pulse has no accounts of its own and is designed to know as little about you as possible.

Your Project Diablo 2 login

You sign in on Project Diablo 2's own page in your browser, so your password is never entered into PD2 Pulse and never reaches it. Project Diablo 2 then gives the app a token limited to the permissions shown on its approval screen.

That token is kept in your operating system's secure storage and is only ever sent to Project Diablo 2. Signing out revokes it and removes it from your device.

What reaches pd2pulse.com

When you price an item, the app asks our server for public market listings matching that item, such as "unique Harlequin Crest, ladder, softcore". This does not include your character, your account or which items you own, and is sent without any login. Your IP address is visible to the server while it answers, as with any website. It is used in memory to limit abuse, and is not written to logs. The site runs behind Cloudflare, which handles this traffic under its own privacy policy.

This website and our server use no cookies, analytics or advertising, and we have no user data to sell or share.

The app also checks pd2pulse.com for new versions about every six hours. That request says nothing about you or your account.

Usage data in the Android app

The Android app shares usage data with Google Analytics for Firebase, under Google's terms. It tells you the first time you open it, and you can turn this off right there. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland it asks first, and sends nothing unless you agree. It covers the screens you open, the features you use, and details Google collects automatically such as your device type, operating system version and country, along with a random ID for this install.

It never includes your Project Diablo 2 account, characters, items, prices, offers or messages, and advertising identifiers are switched off. You can change your mind at any time in Settings, which also resets the random ID. The desktop apps do not contain any analytics.

Requests to Project Diablo 2

The app talks directly to Project Diablo 2 for your listings, offers and messages, and for market data if our server is unavailable. Project Diablo 2's own policies apply to those requests.

Removing your data

Sign out, then uninstall the app. Our server holds nothing about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. If you chose to share usage data, it is kept in Google Analytics for up to two months, and it is not linked to your name or your Project Diablo 2 account.
